Zeke Shore is a co-founder and creative director of the interaction design studio Type/Code in Brooklyn, NY. While in college, Zeke began enthusiastically home brewing beer in his spare time, and found himself wishing there was some way to illustrate how different types of hops would effect the bitterness, flavors and aromas of the beers he was brewing.
The Hops Chart was conceived as a data visualization comparing the oil and acid content of commercially available brewing hops, and after several round of additions, updates, and feedback from the home brewing community, it is finally available as a printed piece.
